Yesterday, we gathered on the Temple Steps. Our time together appeared to be centered on the Solar Eclipse, but it was went deeper than that.

Instead of only connecting about the usual themes of eclipse season [which, in case you’re wondering what those are, often range from how we dance with emotional volatility and react to intense change —present or impending], other surprising possibilities brought themselves into focus through an undercurrent of something I wasn’t expecting.

Near the end of the call, a card I don’t even remember drawing presented itself to me. Even though the call was ending, this card really wanted to be a part of our gathering.

Its message?

Joy and Stability.

As I reflect on this, I think of the law of polarity, a universal law that upholds that everything has an opposite. If we look at the card’s message of joy and stability, we acknowledge the opposite as despair and instability.

And it makes sense that we would. There are times when I find the world deeply unsettling—which brings me to notice that this message came through not to ask us to ignore our perceptions, but instead to remind us of our power.

Yes, things are changing, but so are you.

Change is transformation, and transformation can be uncomfortable as hell.

There’s a Divine Mess that comes with this transformation—and that’s what I find exhilarating (dare I say joyful) about these personal and collective changes.

It is a joy to liberate ourselves from what we cannot control and to find stability in what we can.

We can do our inner work, continue on our path of growth, and challenge ourselves to make the changes that would serve us the most—trusting that these choices uplift the collective and move us toward raising consciousness.

What just came through for you is my personal philosophy. It may not be unique, but it’s how I choose to move through this ever-changing, chaotic world.

What about you, love? How do you move through change and the Divine Mess? Let me know!
